Paris Saint-Germain have put Neymar on blast after the club's star striker missed training on Monday.
The Ligue 1 giants have gone public with their displeasure after the Brazilian was posted missing in action as the first team returned ahead of the new season.
Neymar has made no secret about his desire to return to Barcelona and reportedly told his former team-mates he will secure a move back to the Nou Camp.
And PSG have now confirmed he hasn’t returned with his team-mates as Thomas Tuchel's side begin their pre-season training.
Club chief Nasser Al-Khelaifi is believed to be ready to move on from the player as they get set to build their team around Kylian Mbappe.
A statement on the club’s website said: "This Monday, July 8, Neymar da Silva Santos Junior was summoned for the resumption of activities of the professional group of Paris Saint-Germain.
"Paris Saint-Germain found that the player Neymar Jr did not show up at the agreed time and place, without having been authorised by the Club in advance.
"Paris Saint-Germain deplores this situation and will take the appropriate measures resulting from it."
