Neymar and the bombshell PSG transfer clause that's linked directly to Kylian Mbappe's future

Brazilian superstar Neymar will reportedly be allowed to leave Paris Saint-Germain IF Kylian Mbappe rejects a new contract at the Parc Des Princes.

It's the nightmare scenario Nasser Al-Khelaifi will be dreading but it's understood the former Barcelona star can seek a transfer elsewhere if his all-star striker partner decides to depart.

PSG remain confident that Mbappe will pen fresh terms to keep him at the club beyond 2022 but the likes of Real Madrid and Liverpool are long-term admirers.

And now AS state Neymar has a clause in his contract that open the door for him to leave if the France superstar calls time on his PSG stay.

The duo are the most feared strike pair on the planet but a first ever Champions League title still evades them despite mammoth financial backing over the past decade.

Neymar has long been linked with an emotional return to Barcelona but that door is now shut due to the Catalans' dire financial situation.

But the mercurial forward wouldn't be short of suitors if he was forced into seeking an exit in the coming seasons.

Real Madrid are another side who covet him but Florentino Perez has spoken about the need to readjust financially amid the pandemic.
