
Two-time Olympic champion Yuzuru Hanyu dominates the free skating program to win the NHK Trophy in Sapporo on Saturday. Hanyu, who topped the short program, grabbed 195.71 points to score a total of 305.05 points in the final event of the Grand Prix Series. The star skater secured qualification for the Grand Prix Final for the first time in three years. Teen star Rika Kihira, who was second overall in the woman's program, also qualified for the Grand Prix Final, which will be held in Italy in December.
