Latest Sheffield Wednesday manager odds: Ex-Sunderland boss favourite but former Chelsea assistant and Stoke City man in the running as Bruce leaves for Newcastle United

Bristol City are going to hope Sheffield Wednesday bosses move quickly to appoint a new manager as they look to seal a deal to land the Owls' striker Lucas Joao.

Former Wales manager Chris Coleman has become the bookies' favourite this morning, replacing Lee Bullen who became caretaker manager following Steve Bruce's departure to take the Newcastle United job.

Bruce controversially left Hillsborough last week to take over at Newcastle United, leaving the Owls searching for a new boss with just over two weeks before the start of the season.

Former Bristol City boss Tony Pulis is in the frame, but is quite far down the betting according to the Sack Race.

Also in the running are Gary Rowett, Gary Month and Chris Hughton.

Here are the odds in full:

Chris Coleman 4/5

Gary Rowett 11/2

Lee Bullen 6/1

Nigel Pearson 13/2

Tony Pulis 12/1

Chris Hughton 16/1

Garry Monk 16/1

Gianfranco Zola 16/1

Daniel Stendel 20/1

Giovanni van Bronckhorst - 20/1

Domenico Tedesco 20/1

Paul Cook 33/1

Nigel Adkins 33/1

Sol Campbell 33/1

Danny Cowley 33/1
