The Hoops have taken their time over the decision but it seems that an appointment could be imminent.
According to Sky Sports, QPR are set to name Mark Warburton as manager of the west London side.
The former Brentford boss has been without a club since leaving Nottingham Forest two years ago, but is expected to start the new season as manager at Loftus Road.
News of the imminent appointment has made Warburton huge odds-on favourites for the role, with the likes of Gareth Ainsworth, Darren Moore, Tim Sherwood and Lee Bowyer drifting somewhat.
