Next Plymouth Argyle manager odds: Money pours in for former Bristol Rovers manager Darrell Clarke as ex Leeds United manager drifts

Money has started to come in for Darrell Clarke to become Plymouth Argyle manager.

Argyle are on the search for a new manager after parting company with Derek Adams over the weekend.

They have one game left to avoid relegation following a disastrous run of form that has left them in the bottom four.

Kevin Nancekivell will take charge of the match but, longer-term, it is expected that a new manager will come in over the summer for next season.

Two Bristol Rovers legends currently lead the betting for the position, according to The Sack Race.

Ian Holloway has moved from in from 4/1 to 2/1, with the Gas hero tipped for a second spell at Home Park, but it is Clarke who is the big mover.

Clarke departed Rovers in December, and yesterday he was given odds of 12/1 to be the next Plymouth manager.

Bristol Rovers fan Francisco arrives in Bristol after fan campaign to bring him 12,000km from Argentina

Yet today, he is now ranked as 5/1 second favourite behind Holloway in the betting.

Gary Johnson and Steve Evans have both slid in the betting.

Full odds:

Ian Holloway - 2/1

Darrell Clarke - 5/1

Gary Johnson - 8/1

Keith Hill - 12/1

Michael Flynn - 14/1

Paul Hurst - 14/1

Steve Evans - 16/1

Kevin Nancekivell - 16/1
