Popular high street retailer Next is well know for its incredible seasonal sales, and its January clearance is one of the biggest of them all.
But for anyone still planning to head down for some 2020 bargains, you may want to double check your local branch is actually open on New Year's Day before you go.
Next has confirmed that it will be open on New Year's Day - although at reduced hours compared to normal.
Whether you're looking for homewares for yourself or clothes for your little ones, we've got the full breakdown of when Next is open today for New Year's Day below.

Next New Year's Day opening times:
- 1 January 2020 (New Year's Day) - Most Next stores will be open from 10am until 6pm
- 2 January - Normal opening hours resume at all Next stores.
If you are a big Next sale shopper you may want to see if you qualify for VIP access to the sale.
Customers who have a credit account with NextPay and have made a recent order will usually automatically be sent an invite. So if you do want to get ahead of the crowd, you can sign up for an account online beforehand and make a purchase.
It's advisable to pay off the bill straight away to avoid a high interest fees - an additional cost that will defeat the point of shopping in the sale in the first place.
A member of Hotukdeals.com called emribena also advises fellow customers on how to get a VIP invite, writing: "I know lots of people stock up for the year on clothes for the kids in these offers. If you aren't a VIP and wondering how to became one and get an invite, here's how:
• Have a Next credit account with at least £250 credit available.
• Have placed and kept an order from the Next Directory this season.
• Have an up to date email address and be registered to receive sale and promotional emails.
• Have returned less than two thirds of the items you’ve ordered."
