Stephen Robinson is the early favourite with the bookmakers to replace Michael O'Neill as Northern Ireland boss.
The Motherwell manager was part of O'Neill's backroom team at the 2016 Euros.
He has also impressed in Scotland this season with Motherwell currently third in the Premiership.
Linfield boss David Healy is also fancied by the bookies and is currently 7/2 second favourite with Paddy Power.
Healy's stock continues to rise following Linfield's impressive run in Europe this summer when they narrowly missed out on reaching the group stages of the Europa League.
Other names in the running are Northern Ireland Under 21 manager Ian Baraclough and Hull City boss Grant McCann.
