Next Leeds United manager odds as Alfred Schreuder 'no longer being considered' by Whites

Former Ajax manager Alfred Schreuder was the clear favourite to replace Jesse Marsch as Leeds United head coach after the Dutchman was spotted at Elland Road on Sunday afternoon. However, it is now thought that the 50-year-old coach is 'no longer being considered' by the club.

Schreuder was seen by LeedsLive walking through the John Charles Stand in the wake of Manchester United's 2-0 win over the Whites. He was with head of European recruitment Gaby Ruiz and another member of Victor Orta's recruitment team in what looked to be a clear indication that the club were working hard to confirm him as their new manager.

It has now been a week since Marsch was sacked and Michael Skubala has overseen both games against Man United with the help of Chris Armas and Paco Gallardo.

Nathan Jones' sacking has undoubtedly put the pressure on Leeds to conduct their business in a more timely fashion given the limited managerial market at present. Yet Marsch could well be set to return to management at St Mary's, easing the pressure on the Whites somewhat.

Arne Slot and Adoni Iraola were both heavily tipped to take the Leeds top job, but deals for either man appear to have hit a snag leading the club to look elsewhere.

A recent report from the Athletic's Phil Hay has now claimed that Schreuder is 'no longer being considered' by the Whites for the top job and has since flown back to the Netherlands following talks with the club.

With all that in mind, we have compiled the latest odds on Leeds' search to find a new manager:
