McBookie have priced the former Ross County boss as 4/1 favourite to replace Tommy Wright, who was relieved of his duties on Saturday, with Derek McInnes and Neil Lennon close behind at 5/1.
Steven Naismith is an interesting shout if Killie decide to go down a similar route as Hibernian did with Shaun Maloney, and the former Killie and Rangers star can be backed at 6/1.
Next up is ex-Dundee boss Neil McCann, who managed Inverness on an interim basis last season, who is 7/1.
At 10/1 is head of football operations James Fowler's ex-boss Jack Ross and Kilmarnock Scottish Cup winner Jim McIntyre.
