The Next Home department store in Eastgate Retail Park will close down next month.
An employee of the branch in the Eastgate Centre on Eastgate Road, Eastville, said it will shut on August 18.
She said: "There won't be a closing-down sale. All of the products are going to be sent to other Next stores."
The store, which neighbours M&S Foodhall and Pets at Home branches, offers clothes for women, men and children, as well as homeware.
It has been trading for more than 15 years.
Next has been approached for further comment on the closure.
