The McCain campaign is being urged to seize on the quotation to show the dangers of an Obama presidency, since if there's one thing America won't stand for these days, it's socialist economic notions. "If McCain can't get traction from it, he's Bob Dole and that's that," Steyn grumbles briefly, then abruptly ends his blog post, presumably because he's running late for the premiere of a new anti-Muslim remake of 42nd Street.
