Rio Ferdinand has urged Frank Lampard to be the next Chelsea manager after Didier Drogba posted a hilarious video of the two of them on his Instagram page.
The former Manchester United defender and Blues legend were at an event together and Drogba took to social media to get Ferdinand's view on Lampard becoming the next boss.
Lampard is the hot favourite to be the man to replace Maurizio Sarri as the head coach after he made the switch to Juventus last Sunday.
And Ferdinand believes that Lampard is speaking to Chelsea and that the former Blues midfielder should definitely take the job.
Drogba: "My question is, Mr Rio Ferdinand, what do you think about Frank Lampard possibly becoming the new manager of Chelsea Football Club??
Ferdinand: "I think they should do it, I think he’ll get it. Is he talking?"
Drogba: "I don’t know."
Ferdinand: "I think he is talking. I think he is going to get it, yeah. If he is talking then he is getting the job because he can talk. Frank, take the job man, take the job. Take it. Chelsea need you."
Drogba: "You see, it is not coming from me."
Ferdinand: "I don’t care, he is my friend, I don’t care. He should get the job. He deserves it."
Drogba: "Job. Done."
