Bookmakers this morning suspended betting on the next Ayr United manager after a flurry of support for Jim McIntyre.
Odds on the former Dundee and Ross County boss taking over at Somerset Park collapsed from 8/1 to 6/4 after strong support.
Scots firm McBookie said: "Ayr Utd manager market just back up from the weekend and ten bets in ten minutes all for one man – Jim McIntyre."

The market was removed from the company's website before being reopened with McIntyre installed as 1/3 favourite.
McIntyre is among the candidates to have been interviewed for the post as Ayr search for a successor to Mark Kerr.
Ex-Morton boss David Hopkin, East Fife's Darren Young and Montrose chief Stewart Petrie are others understood to be in the frame.
Ayr plan to appoint Kerr's replacement later this week ahead of their weekend trip to Hearts.
United are in Championship action tomorrow night at Raith Rovers, with interim boss Davie White remaining in charge of the team.
