Many shops deemed 'non-essential' by the Government have closed in the second national lockdown - but there are some surprising exceptions.
Some of them are based in Nottingham's Victoria Centre, which has already announced how it will operate under lockdown, set to last until December 2 at the earliest.
The shopping mall is home to around 80 stores, but unlike the first lockdown earlier in the year, this time more stores are being able to carry on offering click and collect services rather than being closed completely.
Here are some of the more surprising options that will still be accessible for shoppers to order online, and pick up in person:
- John Lewis & Partners (on foot Click & Collect outside their store entrance on the lower mall as well as a drive-in collection service via dedicated bays in the Red Zone Car Park, accessible via Glasshouse Street)
- Next - online collections and online returns only available
- The Perfume Shop - Click & Collect services only between the hours of 9.30am to 12.30pm and 1.30pm to 6pm
- Beaverbrooks - Click & Collect between 12pm and 5.30pm Monday to Saturday and 12pm and 4pm on Sundays
- GAME - collection service on November 10 and 19 only to coincide with new console launches
- Luvyababes
- The Entertainer
- Office
Also, CEX will be operating a drop off service with allocated time slots.
A small number of essential retail businesses will also be open to shop in-store, see below:

Apple product reseller KRCS is also open for pre-booked service appointments only, not in-store retail.
