Just like our beloved Trailblazer's bizarre personality, the banners in Honkai: Star Rail are constantly changing, so it's a good idea to keep track of what the current banners and next banners are.
Limited-time rotating banners are called 'Event Warps' in Star Rail, and they usually run for three weeks. Whether it's a new banner or a rerun, once those three weeks are up, it's time to say goodbye and greet the new banners with your stack of Special Pass tickets. Or in my case, a stack of three tickets, because it's hard to save when you want every dang character in the game.
It's best to convert your Stellar Jade into these Special Pass tickets, not the regular Pass tickets used on the standard and Departure Warp banners, because you get plenty of the regular variety by just playing the game. It's much harder to get characters only available for a limited-time—as demonstrated by my pitiful Special Pass ticket reserves—so you'll want all the help you can get when the character you like is available.
Next banners in Honkai: Star Rail
Thanks to her drip marketing being revealed on social media, it's known that Cyrene is one of the next banners in Honkai: Star Rail. She'll debut during version 3.7, mostly likely in Phase 1 at the start of the patch, with Cyrene a new five-star Ice-attacker of the Remembrance path.
Due to the lack of any other drip marketing, this means it's basically confirmed that Cyrene is the only new character coming in version 3.7, so there will be at least three character reruns.
One of these rerun banners in version 3.7 is likely to be Hyacine, which we know thanks to reliable leak source Anon Leaks, with Hyacine a five-star Wind-attacker of the Remembrance path. Unfortunately, that's the only solid rerun leak that's floating around right now, but we'll update this page if we find any more reliable information before the next livestream.
Personally, while Cyrene's growth spurt is exciting and all, I'm so ready to avenge my lost 50/50 on Hyacine's next banner. If I end up getting another Gepard Eidolon, and am denied my chubby pegasus again—who comes with a bonus pick-haired meta healer—I don't know if I have it in me to tell Gallagher he's working for the 587th day in a row. The poor guy.
Current banners in Honkai: Star Rail
Dan Heng - Permansor Terrae and Anaxa are the current banners in Honkai: Star Rail, and they're both set to end on Tuesday, November 4. Remember, we all get one copy of Permansor Terrae for free! So don't forget to login before the end of version 4.0 to claim him.
Saber and Archer are also currently running on the special Collaboration Banner, and you can expect Saber and Archer to stick around for "a long time." I wish I could be more specific than that, but sorry, that's all miHoYo gave us to work with.
What I do know is that although the Collaboration Banner doesn't share pity with regular banners, it does carry its own pity between Collaboration Banners. Good to know that this may not be the only cool collab coming to Star Rail!
Saber is a new five-star Wind-attacker of the Destruction path, and Archer is a new five-star Quantum-attacker of the Hunt path, and keep in mind that we all get one copy of Archer for free! You have until the end of version 3.6 to claim him, so make sure you don't miss out.
Back to the regularly scheduled ordinary banners now, and Permansor Terrae is a new five-star Physical-attacker of the Preservation path, and Anaxa is a returning five-star Wind-attacker of the Erudition path.
The boosted four-star characters on these current banners are:
- Sushang (Physical, Hunt)
- Hanya (Physical, Harmony)
- Serval (Lightning, Erudition)
Next Light Cone banner in Honkai: Star Rail
Although nothing's been confirmed yet, it would be beyond unprecedented if the next weapon banner in Honkai: Star Rail didn't include a new signature five-star Remembrance Light Cone for Cyrene.
The rest of the line-up remains mostly a mystery, but if the character leak mentioned above is correct, then there will also be a rerun of Hyacine's signature five-star Remembrance Light Cone, Long May Rainbows Adorn the Sky.
Current Light Cone banner in Honkai: Star Rail
The current Light Cone banners run until Tuesday, November 4, and the five-star Light Cones on the current banners in Honkai: Star Rail are Through Worlds Apart (Preservation) and Life Should Be Cast to Flames (Erudition). These are Permansor Terrae and Anaxa's's signature five-star Light Cones, respectively.
All of the four-star boosted Light Cones on the current Light Cone banner are:
- Landau's Choice (Preservation)
- Only Silence Remains (Hunt)
- Perfect Timing (Abundance)
Don't forget that Archer and Saber's signature Light Cones are also a part of the Collaboration Banner. Just tab to the A Thankless Coronation Light Cone to try for Saber's, and The Hell Where Ideals Burn Light Cone to try pulling for Archer's instead.
Honkai: Star Rail banner list
Honkai: Star Rail has taken to throwing banners our way at an alarming rate these days. The 'ol standard of a new character and a rerun every phase of a patch has now turned into a dice roll on whether the Indelible Coterie banner and its six character reruns will appear or not. (Do you not have enough of our money already miHoYo!?)
Choice paralysis aside, these special banners have been a great way to ensure no character gets left behind for too long, which happens all too often in miHoYo's other gacha juggernaut, Genshin Impact.
