John Lewis has named the next nine branches it plans to reopen.
The shops are set to welcome customers again from Thursday, 25 June, and mean there will be 22 stores open in total.
On Monday, John Lewis reopened its first two branches since lockdown - in Kingston and Poole - with eager shoppers queueing down the street to get back in.
Another 11 branches followed on Thursday as the department store looks to get operating again after months of closure.
John Lewis's Bérangère Michel said: “We are taking a gradual approach to reopening to make our shops as safe as they can possibly be for our customers and Partners but this was a very welcome first step.
"Our first customers were really struck by the fact that they could still have an enjoyable experience and get the inspiration they wanted.”
Further announcements on reopenings will be made in the coming weeks, the employee-owned retailer said, and more customers will be allowed in stores following lessons learnt from the stores already open.
Changes in store include greeters at the doors, on hand to offer guidance about the new measures in place, new protocols for using lifts and escalators, availability of hand sanitiser, and new “contactless” dropboxes for returns.
There were also new “Customer Service Hosts” to help manage queues and customer numbers in the store.
