A Newton Mearns family were left “terrified” after every window at the front of their flat was smashed while they sat inside.
Mum-of-three Shumaila Jabeen claims a “gang” of thugs struck at her William Mann Drive home at around 11.45pm on Friday night.
Husband Ajmel had just returned from his work at a Tollcross convenience store when the attack took place.
Shumaila told Glasgow Live: “It was shocking, we were all awake and had been having dinner then all of a sudden we heard this noise, we didn’t know what was happening.
“Our windows are double glazed and every one was hit at the same time so I have no idea how they did it.
“We’re terrified now, we don’t want to be here.”
A Police Scotland spokeswoman confirmed they were alerted to reports of vandalism at 11.55pm on Friday.
She added: “Inquiries are ongoing.”
