Newspaper accuses party of adverts scam

A Scotland on Sunday investigation into the placing of advertising in a paper run by the Scottish Socialist Party alleges that taxpayers are funding the ads. According to the paper, the party's six MSPs have "bought" space, often at a high rate, in the Scottish Socialist Voice to advertise their surgeries and then claimed the cash back from the public purse. A party spokesman has denied allegations of its members being involved in a "scam". (Via scotsman.com)
