Spotted: Times editor John Witherow and Newsnight editor Ian Katz deep in conversation over breakfast at Villandry in central London on Thursday morning. The pair seemed very animated, with Witherow tucking into coffee and a plate of eggs while Katz did most of the talking. Presumably press regulation was high on the agenda. But was Witherow trying to lure Katz back into the fold of Snoozepapers?
