Newsboy's top tips for Tuesday's horse racing at Lingfield, Hereford and Newcastle

ART OF DIPLOMACY (1.45, nap) has all the right credentials to score at Hereford on Tuesday afternoon in the Sky Sports Racing Sky 415 Handicap Hurdle over an extended three miles and a furlong.

Dr Richard Newland's six-year-old won in impressive fashion for his new stable in a three-mile handicap at Ludlow in November.

Now, while this is a step up in grade, and he carries another 8lbm he is a progressive sort. Scarpia is the obvious threat.

At Newcastle this evening IMPERIAL COMMAND (5.00, nb) is a course and distance winner.

The five-year-old, trained by David Loughnane, finished fourth of five last time at Kempton, but the race was not run to suit and a brisker pace in this competitive event can work in his favour.
