News Corp targets online ad technology

Rupert Murdoch's News Corporation is eager to sell advertising against the growing audience of its MySpace.com social networking site. So it's considering the acquisition of companies with technology that could help place ads online. To that end, it will solicit bids from Microsoft, Google and Yahoo!
