Newport County: when is the playoff final in Wembley and will it be on TV?

Newport County fans have been guaranteed a day out in Wembley as they prepare to face Morecambe next week for a place in League One.

The Exiles booked their spot in the League Two showpiece event despite losing 4-3 in their semi-final second leg against Forest Green Rovers on Sunday night, with a late goal by Nicky Maynard giving County a 5-4 aggregate win.

With the final showdown now confirmed, here's everything you need to know about when it is taking place, how you can watch it and how you can get tickets.

What day and time is the final?

The League Two final will take place on Monday, May 31 with kick-off at 3pm.

Will the match be shown on TV?

Yes. You can watch the match live on Sky Sports Main Event, Sky Sports Football and Sky Sports Ultra HD.

If you’re not a Sky Sports customer, you'll be able to stream the match on your smart TV or mobile device by purchasing a Now Sports Day Pass for £9.99 which allows you to watch all Sky Sports channels for a 24-hour period.

How can I buy tickets to the match?

Newport County has been allocated 4,021 tickets for the match at Wembley. Tickets will be going on sale for priority members including season ticket holders today, May 24 at 12pm .
