A number of changes to bus services have been announced in a Welsh city.
Newport Bus has announced a host of changes to its services from today, Monday November 1. Most changes will affect Saturday services but there will also be some alterations to some weekday services.
The company said in a statement that it had updated some of its timetables "to address reliability issues across the network."

The following changes will be place from today:
Monday to Friday (from Monday, November 1)
- Route 29 – 7.05pm service from Cwmbran is now at 7.16pm
- Route 74A/74C – deletion of the 9am 74A
Saturday (from Saturday, November 6)
- Route 2A/2C – reduced to six trips a day instead of eight
- Route 6 – 7.05am service removed
- Route 8A/8C – frequency changes from 30 mins to 40 mins between 3.30pm and 7.05pm
- Route 15/16 – frequency changes from 30 mins to 40 mins between 5.30pm and 7pm
- Route 19E – 6am service removed. Between 6.50am-9.30am and 3pm-7pm frequency changes to every 40 mins
- Route 20A/20C – changed to four trips from six trips
- Route 26A/26C – 7.45am and 6.05pm removed
- Route 27/28 – between 9am and 3pm frequency to be every 40 mins, between 7am and 9am and 4pm-7pm frequency changed to every 60 mins
- Route 29 – short workings between Cwmbran and Grange removed (timetable restructured) - 7.05pm 29 from Cwmbran now 7.16pm
- Route 35/36 – 7am removed, between 10am and 3.20pm every 40 mins, then every hour between 8am to 10am and 3.20pm to 6.20pm
- Route 37 – changed to three trips from five trips
- Route 40/41 – removed
- Route 42/43 – frequency changes to every 40 mins between 9.30am and 5.33pm, frequency to be hourly outside of this time bracket
- Route 60 – changed to four trips from six trips
- Route 73 – changed to five trips from seven trips
- Route C1/C2/C3 – changed from three trips to two trips - 9am and 5pm
- Route 74A/74C – 6.55am removed
- Route X30 – 6.50am removed
- Route X74 – slight timing changes to departure times from Newport
