Newly single Fern Britton wasted no time sitting around feeling sorry for herself this Valentine's Day, as she hit the town for a raucous bash.
The presenter opened up about her fun night out following her split from her husband of 20 years Phil Vickery, as the pair decided to call it quits on their marriage in recent weeks.
The former This Morning star took to Twitter on Saturday to open up about a fun bash she attended on Friday night.
Fern even admitted to waking up with a sore head.
She wrote: "Went to a lovely party last night. So much fun. Lots of chatting with new people and old friends. Must have been a bit noisy though. Woke up with a headache."
And Fern's followers were quick to respond to her tweet, as one person wrote: "At a time like this I need a cup of tea and a French Fancy."
The mother-of-four instantly responded to the man, writing: "I'm coming over."
And other followers were glad to hear that Fern is doing well after the split.
One wrote: "I like this, glad you had a great evening Fern. Enjoy your weekend."
While another penned: "Glad you enjoyed yourself Fern, you deserve it. Have a lovely weekend and hope the next party isn't as noisy!"
A third added: "Sounds like a good time was had!"
The raucous bash came after Fern's Valentine's Day started off on a flat note, after she was spotted doing the not-so-romantic deed of taking the bins out alone on the special day.
As she set her heartache aside, Fern kept up her weekly routine as she made sure the bins were taken out on time.
Her note was accompanied with a meme of a person seen hauling the huge recycling bin.
She wrote: "Recycling day is such a work up! 20 minutes today just to get all the bags out."
But the freshly single star didn't let her failed love dampen her spirits when she wished every one of her followers a Happy Valentine's Day with a cheerful note.
Fern added: "Also on a jollier note Happy Valentine's Day! Love yourself and give yourself a little treat."
The former This Morning presenter added 14 love hearts to her post as she promoted self-love.
Her estranged TV chef husband was spied not wearing his wedding band in the wake of their marriage crumbling in the limelight.
Their love story heated up after the couple first crossed paths on BBC Two's Ready Steady Cook and they begun dating.
Once Fern had finalised her divorce with TV executive Clive Jones, she went onto tie the knot with Phil in 2000.
The exes now amicably raise their daughter Winnie together, who is now 18.
Fern is also the mum to twins Jack and Harry as well as daughter Grace from her first marriage to Clive.
They were married for 12 years between 1988 and 2000.
