Newly formed AAF boasts several former Chargers

The NFL season is over, but that doesn’t mean there won’t be anymore football on Sunday until August. The new league, Alliance of American Football (AAF), an organization founded by Charlie Ebersol and former NFL general manager Bill Polian will begin this weekend.

The start of the eight-team league gives football players from several different backgrounds, including roster spots on all 32 NFL teams, a chance to develop and get a second shot at the pros.

Each team will play ten games in the regular season, before the top-four teams face off in the playoffs in order to crown a champion.

A variety of the players on these teams have spent time with the Chargers in their career.
