A new bar officially opens in Newcastle this weekend.
The Hustle is an all-day bar serving food that opens its doors in Newgate Street, Newcastle on Friday October 22.
Owned by the same team which opened and runs The Lofts nightclub, The Hustle holds its full grand opening party on Friday October 22, following a soft launch last week.
Co-owner Rob Seaman says The Hustle is the perfect venue for a bite at lunch, drinks with food and date nights, with a "luxury but friendly and inclusive" feel.
A "New York style" tapas menu will be served, with dishes including sliders, mac and cheese, and pizza cooked in an in-house pizza oven.
"It's really important for us, the quality. Really good food, but served in a bar environment," Rob told ChronicleLive ahead of the launch.
Like The Lofts superclub which opened in August, the interior at The Hustle has been created by House of Dakota, who transformed the former Tiger Tiger/Eden bars into both venues.
The Hustle, which will open from noon to midnight today, will also host live DJs and serve a modern cocktail menu. It will open seven days a week.
"It's somewhere for everyone, it's a good mood space," Rob told ChronicleLive.
"It looks amazing, good cocktails - we've got a great new cocktail menu - good food.
"The idea is to do New York tapas, so we've got an amazing pizza oven, got an amazing chef coming in to do lots of different tapas for us."
