American Natasha Rao moved from Washington DC to Canberra only in early July as her family started a three-year posting in their new national capital.
But already they are trying to extend their stay.
"We love it that much," she said, with a huge smile.
Many Canberrans have already fallen in love, too, with Natasha as she starts to explore her new home and documents each discovery, every quirk and delight, on social media including Instagram, @fashionalties.
Whether that's eating her first lamington (yes, she knows not to use a knife and fork next time!), spotting her first joey in the pouch while going for a run, getting her library card from the Kingston library, discovering the op shops of Canberra or finding the best matcha in town, Natasha has struck a chord with the enthusiasm and joy she finds in all the little things.
And then there is her amazing fashion sense, but we'll get to that.
One reel Natasha posted explaining her (happy) shock that there are no Starbucks outlets in Canberra and her delight at starting to find all the great local cafes was viewed more than 120,000 times.
"I was like, what the heck is happening?" she said.
"Like, I'm not trying to do anything crazy, I'm just sharing my experience."
Natasha, 44, is used to settling into a new home. She's American but was born in Spain. Her dad was in the navy and her family lived everywhere from Italy to London to Hawaii.
"I've been moving my whole life," she said. "I've literally lived around the world, which is wild."
Natasha is a journalist with a background in fashion who also worked in marketing for Saks Fifth Avenue in New York. One of her first purchases when she landed in Australia was the local edition of Vogue. Natasha is also a specialist in perimenopause, dedicated to helping other women and their families navigate the stage.
Her blog and social media posts were ways to be creative no matter where she was, as was her sense of fashion.
"No matter where I was, I'd still play dress-ups" she said.
Natasha's husband, Colonel Kabir Rao, is a defence attache at the United States embassy in Canberra.
He and Natasha have three children: Sahara, 15, and 13-year-old twins Harper and Arman. The family has settled in Wright.
The Raos have been on other postings including to India and the Philippines. Natasha took a similar approach in those other countries, sharing her thoughts and discoveries online.
"But this has been way bigger," she said about the response to her Canberra posts.
Since she started posting about Canberra only a few weeks ago, Natasha has gained a couple of thousand new followers, and she is constantly receiving new tips from locals about what to see and do in the national capital.

"I can't wait for people to visit, because it's going to be on. I'm going to know all the cool things to share," she said.
"Dairy Road [precinct] is my favourite. I love Under, it's my favourite, favourite place to eat. I still have so many places to try and explore but it's been the place I still go back to."
The family plans to eventually look around Sydney as well.
"Most people are like, 'Have you been to the big city yet?' and we go, 'No, we love it here'," she said.
