Newcastle wonderkid ready for 'unreal experience' after latest stunning cameo

A-League wonderkid Garang Kuol admits a World Cup call-up for Australia would be an 'unreal experience'. The rising star, who will join Newcastle United in January, came off the bench and registered two assists in Central Coast Mariners' latest victory.

Kuol created the opening goal within minutes of his introduction, diverting the ball towards fellow substitute Michael Ruhs. The pair combined once again, with the 18-year-old delivering an accurate cross to Ruhs at the far post to net the second in a 3-0 win at Western Sydney Warriors.

It is Kuol's first league appearance of the season after representing Australia's U20s, and the pacy attacker made his senior debut in a friendly victory over New Zealand in September. The future Magpies prospect is considered a wildcard contender to make Graham Arnold's squad for Qatar, and he is confident he can take his recent form on the biggest stage.
