Newcastle winger Ryan Fraser sees market value significantly decrease since moving to Tyneside

Newcastle United winger Ryan Fraser is among the top 10 summer Premier League signings who have seen their market value decrease the most this season.

Fraser was one of five new arrivals at St James' Park at the start of the season, joining the Magpies on a free transfer from Bournemouth, but he has failed to hit the ground running on Tyneside.

The Scotland international has been in impressive form for his country this season but a number of niggling injuries and a lack of consistency has hampered his progress at Newcastle, starting just 10 Premier League matches this term.

As a result, Fraser has seen his value fall by £4.95million, a decrease larger than that of any fellow Newcastle United summer signing and the 10th biggest percentage decrease in the division.

BettingOdds.com have conducted a study into which Premier League signings from the 2020/21 summer transfer window have had the largest increase and decrease in value since joining their new club and they also found that Jamal Lewis has had the highest market rise of any Newcastle signing.

The Northern Ireland international has also struggled to fully settle in the North East but the 23-year-old has seen his market value rise from £9.9million to £15.3million - an increase of £5.4million.

All values used in the study are from Transfermarkt.com and on-loan players have been included in the final results. BettingOdds.com have compared the value of each respective signing at the time of their transfer to what their value is now.
