Newcastle United welcome Southampton to St James' Park tomorrow as they go in search of a second successive win.
Steve Bruce's side ran out 2-0 winners over in-form Sheffield United on Thursday as goals from Allan Saint-Maximin and Jonjo Shelvey secured a vital three points.
It moved United up to 11th place in the Premier League table and at the start of the weekend the Magpies find themselves five points clear of the relegation zone and just two points adrift of sixth place.
They now welcome Ralph Hasenhuttl's side to Tyneside and will fancy their chances of making it two wins in a row. The Saints currently occupy 17th place in the Premier League table but have won their last two Premier League games.
Newcastle will be without captain Jamaal Lascelles and Matt Ritchie through injury, while Bruce will assess the fitness of DeAndre Yedlin, Allan Saint-Maximin and Andy Carroll.
Bruce will not want to change a winning team too much although he does have key decisions to make - particularly at right-wing-back and up front.
