Transfer deadline day signing David Luiz and club-record £72million signing Nicolas Pepe are both on the bench, along with Real Madrid loanee Dani Ceballos.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang leads the line, while Alexandre Lacazette is only fit enough for the bench.
Lucas Torreira is also among the substitutes, while young forward Gabriel Martinelli has also made the 18-man matchday squad. There is no room for Shkodran Mustafi, who has been told he can leave the Gunners.
As for Newcastle, the Magpies' record signing Joelinton leads the line.
