Deliveroo has released its list of top breakfast orders around the UK, as it expects a surge on Sunday of people getting a take out breakfast for Mother's Day.

Newcastle orders more morning deliveries per capita than any other major UK city, according to Deliveroo's data.

But you may want to try a little harder than most Geordie Deliveroo customers, if you are ordering your Mam breakfast in bed as a Mothers Day gift.

Deliveroo released the most-popular breakfast orders from the five cities which use the app the most in the morning.

And Newcastle's favourite breakfast item does little to shake North East stereotypes.

While Londoners opt for 'Build Your Own Avo Toast from The Good Life Eatery' and Brighton's most popular breakfast is a Croque Madame, Newcastle top Deliveroo breakfast order is....A GREGGS SAUSAGE ROLL.
