Newcastle United will be bolstered by the return of three senior men after international break

Steve Bruce expects to have a full-strength squad to choose from after the international break - but will not take any risks at Wolves this weekend.

The head coach feels that the trip to Molineux offers the chance to build on last weekend's 1-1 draw at Watford when his team came close to victory in Hertfordshire.

Bruce is hoping that his side can get through the encounter against Bruno Lage's team before holding a roll call next week.

Bruce, speaking at his Press conference today, said: "Thankfully everybody who played last weekend is OK.

"We expect Callum Wilson, Jonjo Shelvey and Jamaal Lascelles to be training in the next couple of days so hopefully after the break we'll have a healthier squad."

Although, Bruce did confirm that Joe Willock - who has struggled with a toe problem - was available again to face Wolverhampton.

Willock was ruled out last Friday at Watford before making a shock emergence for the 1-1 draw.

Bruce said: "He's been OK. He was desperate to play.

"He trained last Friday which was a surprise to us all.

"He's going to train again today and he trained yesterday so he'll be OK."

One man who will be on the team sheet to face Wolves is Allan Saint-Maximin who has been nominated for player of the month.

Bruce said: "There's no doubt about it, he's playing very well.

"I'm delighted he's been nominated and let's hope he gets it - he deserves it.

"We all know what a good player he is for us so it'd be nice to see him get the award."
