Newcastle United vs Wolverhampton Wanderers: Lee Ryder's Premier League prediction

Newcastle United boss Steve Bruce now feels like his side have a less daunting run of games in the Premier League.

The clash with Wolves kicks off a three-game run of games between now and the next international break with clashes at West Ham and at home to AFC Bournemouth to come.

United could do with taking five or six points from the nine on offer if they are to pull away from the bottom three.

After a tough start this feels like a more realistic measuring stick in terms of where Newcastle are this season.

Lee Ryder's prediction

A trip to Slovan Bratislava could affect Wolves' fatigue levels on Sunday but be warned, it's not a guarantee.

Wolves have banked a point in a host of their matches after Europa League games and managed to pull off a 2-0 win at Man City no less following their last Euro trip to Besiktas.

Confidence isn't too bad from a United point of view but they have to start doing much more in the final third.

It'll be a tough encounter this weekend but I think Newcastle can take the three points.
