Newcastle United vs Everton live stream: How to watch Premier League fixture online and on TV today

Premier League leaders Everton will be desperate to return to winning ways after a shock defeat at Southampton, but will be without their South American attacking duo of Richarlison and James Rodriguez.

Carlo Ancelotti’s side will need to break down a dogged Newcastle outfit, who frustrated Wolves throughout before snatching a late equaliser at Molineux last time out.

The Magpies’ star that day, Jacob Murphy, could start again while Callum Wilson leads the line.

However, Everton will be quietly confident as the Toffees have won on six of their previous nine trips to St James’ Park.

What is the team news?

Steve Bruce will likely be without captain Jamaal Lascelles following a foot injury picked up in the 1-1 draw at Wolves. Meanwhile, both Matty and Sean Longstaff return after a thigh injury and tonsillitis respectively. Jonjo Shelvey is out after undergoing surgery for his hernia, joining Matt Ritchie and Dwight Gayle on the sidelines.

Premier League pace-setters Everton will be without James Rodriguez after risking his ankle in the defeat to Southampton, while Seamus Coleman remains out. Richarlison and Lucas Digne are suspended.

Predicted line-ups

Newcastle: Darlow, Murphy, Schar, Lascelles, Fernandez, Lewis, Hayden, Hendrick, Almiron, Wilson, Saint-Maximin

Everton: Pickford, Kenny, Mina, Keane, Nkounkou, Doucoure, Allan, Gomes, Bernard, Calvert-Lewin, Iwobi

Odds

Newcastle: 13/5

Draw: 5/2

Everton: 11/10

Prediction

Everton are yet to win a game without Richarlison since the Brazilian winger joined the Merseyside team in the summer of 2018 – and Carlo Ancelotti’s side do not inspire confidence heading into this fixture. They are without James as well, and Newcastle will likely employ a similar strategy to their game against Wolves. 1-1 draw
