Newcastle United vs Brentford team news: Fabian Schar returns to the starting line-up

Newcastle United's new head coach Eddie Howe recalled Fabian Schar to his starting line-up for the clash against the Bees.

Howe had his assistant Jason Tindall in control from the dugout with Graeme Jones standing by his side.

The Switzerland international is back after a two month stint on the sidelines. Joe Willock was also back in the side but there was no place for Martin Dubravka with Karl Darlow continuing in goal.

Howe went with Jonjo Shelvey in midfield with Ryan Fraser forced to wait for his chance on the bench.
