Newcastle United transfer target Jarrod Bowen addresses his future amid Premier League interest

Newcastle United transfer target Jarrod Bowen has addressed his future at Hull City amid much speculation about his next move.

The Tigers winger has scored 54 goals across the last two-and-a-half seasons in the Championship and he is expected to move on either in January or the summer.

Bowen has interest from Tottenham and Leicester, while Newcastle are monitoring his situation with Steve Bruce known to be a big fan of the 23-year-old.

But when asked directly about his future, Bowen told the Sun that he is focusing purely on his football as opposed to matters away from the pitch.

"Sometimes you must just take a step back from it all," he said.

"The fact clubs are after you means that you must be doing something good on the pitch.

"I have people I trust off the pitch to take care of all of that and I just look after playing football. Then, whatever happens after that, happens."

That being said, Bowen admitted his dream is to play in the Premier League and he is confident he can replicate his goalscoring form in the Championship in the top flight.

"That is the dream - to be playing in the Premier League.

"I have the utmost confidence I can score goals at that level. But to say for sure, I need to be there to answer the question."
