Magpies could enter Trippier race
Spanish football expert Guillem Balague has claimed that Kieran Trippier could be a target for Newcastle, as the Magpies have entered the race for the fullback who was heavily linked to Manchester United in the summer.
Balague said: "I hear from Atletico Madrid that Newcastle are really interested in getting Trippier and they have started negotiations with his people. I am not sure whether they will get him or not."

Serie A goalkeeper linked
According to TeamTalk, Newcastle are looking to Italy for a new goalkeeper.
They claim that the Magpies like Dean Henderson but don't see an approach for the Manchester United goalkeeper leading anywhere and are instead looking at Thomas Strakosha of Lazio.
Strakosha is very much the second choice goalkeeper at the Rome based club, since the signing of ex-Liverpool and Aston Villa man, Pepe Reina and is out of contract in the summer, so may be available cheaply.
Newcastle could offer Man Utd outcast way out
The Sun have written that Newcastle could offer a potential solution to Phil Jones' wilderness years at Manchester United.
In his early days at Old Trafford, he was spoken of as a future England captain but injuries and loss of form have seen him fall out of the squad completely for both club and country.
Newcastle are very much in need of a central defender to join the ranks at St James' Park, though they would perhaps want to find one who is a little more up to match-fitness than the former Blackburn youngster.
