Here's a round-up of the latest Newcastle United transfer gossip on Saturday, March 12.
'Dream summer signings' revealed
According to Give Me Sport, Newcastle United will 'push the boat out' and target 'dream summer signings' ahead of a major assault on the top half of the Premier League next season.
The January transfer window was all about giving Eddie Howe the tools to achieve safety in the division and it appears the team will now cruise to that target, meaning they can go for far bigger targets. Amongst those are said to be Harry Kane, Thomas Muller, Dean Henderson, Dominic Calvert-Lewis and John Stones.
Former Premier League star with £3million release clause linked
The Magpies are also said to be interested in former Arsenal star Alexis Sanchez and the Internazionale man is said to have a £3million release clause in his contract which could make him a low cost, low risk player for Howe's side.
The 33-year-old was disappointing in his period at Manchester United but he previously starred for Arsenal and scored over 60 goals during his time in the Premier League.
Teenage star valued at £40million 'enters talks' with Newcastle
Carlos Daniel of Atletico Mineiro is reportedly in talks over a move to St James' Park, according to HITC. The young full back is claimed to be one of a number of hot prospects the club are keen to bring to the club in order to build a top team for the future and the player and his agent are said to be unhappy that he has found first-team opportunities hard to come by this season, making a move away likely.
