The end of the 'summer' transfer window is now just hours away as a busy few months of dealing will come to an end for Premier League clubs.
Newcastle United got their business done relatively early, signing Jeff Hendrick, Callum Wilson, Ryan Fraser, Jamal Lewis and Mark Gillespie before the season got under way.
That means manager Steve Bruce is not expecting to be busy today, unless something 'mouthwatering' comes along.
There could be several outgoings, however, as the Magpies look to trim their squad and move on players whose gametime is likely to be severely limited, or non-existent.
Christian Atsu, Achraf Lazaar, Henri Saivet and Rolando Aarons are all available, and there could yet be some movement on that front.
