Newcastle United are not expected to even entertain any interest in Bruno Guimaraes - despite what are being described as verified reports in Spain and Brazil.
The Newcastle midfielder is happy on Tyneside and having only arrived from Lyon for £33.5million is under contract until 2026. The news of the European champions' interest in Bruno comes after Casemiro has been linked with Manchester United with the Newcastle star deemed the perfect replacement.
Or at least that is the news that has been leaked to the Spanish media in Madrid via AS. Meanwhile, ESPN in Brazil say that they understand that Real Madrid have contacted Bruno's representatives.

ESPN are reporting that there are no negotiations in progress between the two clubs and merely just an enquiry to his representatives as things stand. Super agent Kia Joorabchian - who is a partner with Bruno's agency - is the man who has been approached about a deal.
The ESPN report, which is circulating in Brazil this evening, says: "Newcastle would require figures much higher than what was paid to the French club last season."
Newcastle have yet to comment on the situation publicly but Eddie Howe will face the Press at the training ground tomorrow. It is understood that United have no interest in selling their star man.
