Newcastle United to open up Level 7 for Sheffield United fan return

Newcastle United chiefs have opened Level 7 for the clash with Sheffield United - with a limited number of tickets available for Wednesday's game.

The Magpies will play their first match in front of a crowd since last March and the first on Tyneside since February last year, when Burnley were the visitors for a bore draw.

A club statement read today: "A limited number of match tickets for Newcastle United’s Premier League clash with Sheffield United are now on sale to remaining 2019/20 season ticket holders until 7pm on Thursday 13th May.

"The club held a ticket ballot for eligible season ticket holders on long term deals and with account credit last week, with tickets initially available in singles, pairs and a small number of fours.

"With a higher percentage of single seats reserved than anticipated, the stadium seating plan has been reconfigured to ensure a safe social distance is adhered to.

"In order to provide a safe, enjoyable and Covid-secure environment for supporters, the lower bowl is now at maximum safe capacity and Level 7 will be opened for Wednesday’s match."

Tickets are priced at £30 for adults and £15 for juniors and will be sold on a first come first served basis to those who meet the eligibility criteria.

Eligible supporters must have held a season ticket for the 2019/20 campaign, but that does not include those with free half-season tickets. Tickets can be booked here.
