Newcastle United boss Steve Bruce welcomed Allan Saint-Maximin and Miguel Almiron to his attack for the clash at Watford.
The Magpies also handed skipper Jamaal Lascelles a start in the penultimate away match of the campaign.
Lascelles shook off an ankle knock after missing the clash at Man City while Saint-Maximin was back after being rested.
Bruce looks to have selected Fabian Schar in the middle of the park once again after the Swiss international operated in that position at the Etihad Stadium.
The switch around meant that Joelinton was dropped to the bench while Nabil Bentaleb also started as sub.
Emil Krafth also lost his place and started on the sidelines.
