Allan Saint-Maxmin returned to Newcastle United’s starting line-up for the home clash with Chelsea.
The French winger has been out with a hamstring problem for over a month but will bolster Steve Bruce’s frontline against the Blues.
Bruce was also able to include fit-again skipper Jamaal Lascelles in his starting XI from the start for the first time since November.
However, there was a reshuffle in midfield as Jonjo Shelvey and Isaac Hayden started and the Longstaff brothers were only names on the bench.
Fabian Schar was also only deemed fit enough to be a substitute while Matt Ritchie was not risked from the beginning.
