Newcastle United takeover Q&A: Your questions answered on the Saudia Arabia deal

Newcastle United fans are continuing to toast a momentous day in the club’s history following yesterday’s takeover.

The Magpies are finally rid of Mike Ashley’s toxic ownership, with the Sports Direct owner being bought out by Saudi Arabia’s PIF, the Reuben brothers and Amanda Staveley.

It was news that brought scenes of jubilation to the streets of Newcastle, as thousands of fans turned out in celebration at finally seeing off Ashley.

Whilst Newcastle are now ranked as one of the richest clubs in the world, there are still plenty of remaining questions that need to be answered about the new ownership, such as how much money will they be able to spend without falling afoul of FFP rules.

Fresh from a busy day yesterday, which saw him speak to Staveley in an exclusive interview, Chronicle Live’s Lee Ryder is on hand to answer any questions you may have about the takeover and the new owners.
