The Newcastle United Supporters Trust has announced the results of their annual elections.
Nearly 3,000 members voted in a sign that the Trust is growing in strength and engagement. The four successful candidates were Alex Hurst, Peter Maughan, Michael Mannion and Shaun Wade.

The Trust will hold a Special General Meeting tomorrow night (1st November 2019) at 7pm in Lecture Room 2 of the Herschel Building, Newcastle University, to approve the Report of the Election Management Group and introduce the newly elected Board members. There will then be a Q & A session with the new board members.
The Trust is currently engaging with the club on a number of issues and is looking to extend supporter influence at the club – as well as representing fan interests on issues like Strawberry Place . They’re also set to work on a forensic look at the accounts, which was promised by Mike Ashley back in the summer.
