Newcastle United slash FA Cup ticket prices in their bid to reach round four against Rochdale

Newcastle United have slashed ticket prices for their FA Cup replay with Rochdale.

The clash takes place next Tuesday at 7.45pm and fans can buy tickets for £10 (adults) and £5 (concessions).

Rochdale have been afforded an allocation of 5,000 tickets.

United drew the first game 1-1 at Spotland after Aaron Wilbraham's equaliser forced the replay back on Tyneside.

Victory for Newcastle would secure a fourth round home tie against Oxford United during the weekend of January 25th.

Bruce reminded fans of his cup policy despite the draw against Dale, he said: "We’re still in the hat and in the draw. It’s the FA Cup.

"We’ll take it seriously like I said from day one.

"We should have been out of sight, in my opinion.

"We didn’t take enough chances and we have to improve in that area.

"In the first half I was delighted with them."

Should United progress past Rochdale then Oxford, they would be in the fifth round for the first time since Mike Ashley took control at St James' Park back in 2007.
