Newcastle United's transfers Q&A - how they rated and the business they could still do

Transfer deadline day was a quiet affair for Newcastle United - but it doesn't mean their business is necessarily over for the year.

While Steve Bruce has said he's unlikely to make any more big deals, the window remains open for trading with EFL clubs until October 16.

That's likely to mean more about exits for the Magpies, with Christian Atsu, Rolando Aarons and Achraf Lazaar among those looking to get some first-team football.

Loans are still very much a possibility for some, with Watford and Nottingham Forest believed to be keen on Atsu.

There's still takeover talk in the background, of course, with parties claiming interest in buying the club from Mike Ashley.

Plus there is the curious case of United's form - seven points from 12 and into the quarter-finals of the Carabao Cup without ever playing that well.

Sean McCormick will be on hand today to answer some of your questions on some or all of the above.

Who has impressed you so far and why, what's Newcastle's strongest XI, and is there anyone from the EFL they should look to sign in the coming week.

Sean will be here from 2pm, so all you have to do is pop your question into the chat above. Don't forget, you can also take this chance to see what other fans are saying - don't be shy, get involved.
