Newcastle United's takeover arbitration delayed - The Everything is Black and White Podcast

Hopes of an imminent conclusion in the Newcastle United takeover saga were dashed earlier this week with news that the arbitration against the Premier League has been delayed.

That now won't take place until 2022 - meaning Toon fans are stuck with Mike Ashley for at least another six months.

Mark Douglas and Andrew Musgrove discuss that news on the latest episode of The Everything is Black and White Podcast.

The pair discuss

  • The initial reaction to the delay
  • What it now means for the deal
  • Will Mike Ashley stick with the Saudi buy-out
  • Will someone else try to tempt Ashley?
  • Will Ashley now back Steve Bruce in the market?

Mark and Andrew are also joined by the Newcastle United's Supporters Trust's Thomas Concannon as he puts the viewpoint of the NUST across, what they feel their next step is as well revealing his own personal frustration with the Premier League's Richard Masters.
